Alphabeating debut
The Danes and Scots have a lot in common; a liking for a good fry up, an appreciation of quality football and a liking for Denmark's latest pop sensation, Alphabeat.
Playing in King Tut's Wah Wah Tent and looking as if they were dressed for Christmas dinner, Alphabeat played a solid half-hour set.
Being my festival debut, this is the first band I managed to catch and they were fantastic. They played through a lot of their unkown stuff, which combined with their vivacious energy on stage, still managed to get the crowd going.
Anders SG and Stine Bramsen are energetic entertainers and even better vocalists.
But the songs that really went down a treat were '10,000 Nights' and their smash-hit, Fascination. These guys were great.
After my side of Alphabeating Danish, my night was to take in Scouting for Girls, the Stereophonics and the Chemical Brothers....more reviews will follow
